Aurora Productions is currently accepting Production Management Internship candidates for the 2019 / 2020 Broadway Season. The internship runs from late spring or summer 2019 until late spring or summer 2020. The position is primarily theatre based but encompasses work in the office as well. Working as an intern for Aurora is a great opportunity to be introduced to the collaborative process of putting together a Broadway show and to see how a Broadway Production Management office operates.

As valuable members of the Aurora team, the interns gain extensive hands on experience working alongside some of the most notable names in Broadway theatre. The interns immerse themselves in all aspects of Production Management. The ideal candidate should be organized, motivated and excited to adapt to the ever-changing tasks that come up during the course of a Broadway season.

Duties Include:

  • Research, place, track, and distribute orders
  • Maintain Purchase Order database and code bills to appropriate budget lines.
  • Maintaining show files and production calendars

The ideal candidate will have production management or stage management experience. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel. File Maker Pro knowledge a plus. Familiarity / Experience with IATSE, USA, and AEA agreements a plus.  The internship is a full-time position and Interns will be offered a weekly stipend and a monthly metro card to cover expenses.
